Chin Straps and Stampede Strings
Hold on to your hat! Chin straps, known in cattle country as stampede strings, ensure against loss of your hat in wind or brush. We offer a selection of stampede strings and chin straps. The stampede strings with cotter pins will attach easily to most hats such as the Akubra hats and Panama hats we offer. Our Chin Strap has leather tabs for easy attachment to hats with chin strap hooks, such as the Aussie Slouch and some older Akubras manufactured prior to 2018.
