80/20 Wool Underwear Top
The 80/20 top is known in Canada as the "Island Tuxedo", a versatile garment favored by fishermen and loggers. The top is knitted from a blend of 80% wool, 20% nylon for easy care, absorbent comfort, warmth and long wear in a heavy rib knit. The top has a three button placket front and is much longer than ordinary sweaters, giving good protection over the hips. There is a storm flap on the inside with a one button closure. Inset shoulders, ribbed cuffs and overcast bottom edge. Made in Canada.

Stanfield's Ltd. is a long established woolen mill, founded in 1856 in Prince Edward Island and later moved to Nova Scotia. They specialize in underwear and obtained a boost in sales with the Yukon gold rush and the Trail of '98. Today they still manufacture many of the same items.

Care
For best results machine wash in cold water (no bleach) and lay flat to dry. If tumble dried (low heat) expect about 5% shrinkage. The garments are generously sized to accommodate this shrinkage and will soften with each washing.
