These notecards, designed by Marvin Oliver, show the killer whale with a raven dorsal fin, the raven holding the moon in its beak. The moon is embossed. The eagle is portrayed beneath the raven in a subdued fashion, as are the waves of the ocean. This design is a very sophisticated presentation of the traditional stylized art of the Pacific Northwest Indians. The notecards are natural paper, 5 x 7 inches. There are six notecards and envelopes per pack. Made in USA.

  • Moon Catcher
This print is a replica of an original limited edition silk-screen serigraph created in 1995 by Marvin Oliver. Moon Catcher depicts Orca with Eagle emerging from the waves, while Raven, forming the dorsal fin, holds the embossed moon in his beak. Orca is said to protect those who travel away from home and lead them back when the time comes. The Raven is the transformer, trickster and creator. He holds onto the Moon, which he stole from a chief, preparing to release it into the sky. The design is created in the Northwest Coast style.
